Ingredients:
Beef: 1/2 kg; cut into one inch chunks
Ginger: 4 cm (cut into long slices)
Garlic: 3 cloves (cut into long slices)
Soya sauce: 1-1/2 tsp
Sweet chilli sauce: 1-1/2 tsp
Lemon juice: 1 tbs
Celery: 2 (optional)
Cabbage: a cup (optional)
Capsicum: 1 (perferably red, optional)
Carrots: 2
Salt + Pepper: To taste
Oil: 2-3 tbs
Method:
1. Heat a little oil in a wok/pan. Stir fry the beef till tender – should not take more than 5-10 mins. Add salt and pepper and put aside
2. Heat a bit more oil and place garlic and ginger and stir fry for a minute
3. Add in all the desired vegetables one by one – stir frying each for a minute or two
4. Add soya sauce, chilli sauce and lemon juice
5. Add the beef and cook for another 2 minutes or till all vegetables are done
Serving suggestions:
Serve with hot steaming plain rice or on noodles!
